Each year, companies lose thousands of productive hours as warehouse workers walk up and down fulfillment center floors. A new “man to goods” approach by software provider SnapFulfil is aiming to change that.
Designed to support multi-order picking routines in the modern e-commerce environment, SnapCart confines pickers to a specific cell while an autonomous cart does the walking.
The robots carry up to 48 totes, use pick-to-light technology and integrate with SnapFulfil’s warehouse management system (WMS) to ensure workers are moving efficiently and accurately.
SnapCart is also fully reconfigurable — and costs less than a third of other robotic solutions, the company says.
