CEMA: October booked orders up 17.2% compared to October 2018

The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association reported that its October 2019 booked orders increased 17.2% when compared to October 2018 orders.

October 2019 booked orders when compared to September 2019 booked orders were down 40.2%. October booked orders were up 20.0% for bulk handling equipment and down 49.4% for unit handling equipment when compared to September.

CEMA’s October 2019 billed sales (shipments) decreased by 18.6% when compared to October 2018 sales. October 2019 billed sales when compared to September billed sales were down 22.1%.

October billed sales were up 10.4% for bulk handling equipment and down 32.6% for unit handling equipment when compared to September.
